The CAN software here runs on all the adapters (PCI, USB, PC/104, Dongle), some of the software is included with the purchase of an adapter, other software is a FREE download, and the full blown developer software is available for a fee. Please checkout the CAN software, Windows drivers are included with the purchase of an adapter, there is a simple programmers API (init, close, read, write, status, versioninfo) that allows users to write applications. For more advanced applications with clients and servers checkout the PCAN developer software.
