Parallel (LPT1:) CAN Adapter

DESCRIPTION:
The CAN Adapter connects a CAN bus to the parallel interface (LPT printer port) of a PC. It is great for laptop or notebooks that have no card slots. The CAN Adapter supports CAN 2.0A (11-bit ID) and 2.0B (29-bit ID) and supports both the new bi-directional (EPP) and the old standard parallel (Centronics) interface ports.

The power for the adapter is taken from the PS/2 keyboard connector (pass through), the LED shows proper operation. Peak IPEH-002019E

Baud rates up to 1MBaud, Philips SJA1000 CAN-controller, 82C251 Transceiver

CAN is connected via a 9-pin SUB-D as defined by the CiA DS102-1 standard

Supports all interrupt and port addresses of the parallel interface
