The EICP8M and EISX8M managed switches are a powerful, 8 port industrial 10/100Mbps switch
that can address many factory and building applications.
The compact design allows for easy DIN rail mounting and
minimizes the use of panel space. The EISX8M is an
extended temperature (-40 to +85 degc) version of the EICP8M.
Managed Switches provide features like: SNMP, Redundant Ring,
IGMP snooping, rapid spanning tree, virtual LAN support, QOS
quality of service, broadcast storm control, and port security.
The EICP8M/EISX8M can use either
AC or DC power, which connects directly to the terminal block
connect on the top of the switch. Both standard power and
a backup power supply can be used to provide redundant power to
the switch and thus giving you a more reliable system. The EICP8M/EISX8M provides LED indicators for power and each individual
Ethernet connection. The standard EICP8M/EISX8M has copper
RJ45 connections, but 2 fiber ports are available using the SC
(round) connector or ST (square) connector. The fiber
cable types are also available, MM (Multimode) and SM (single
mode) for various distance requirements.
