The MicroMod A1 Module is a packaged version of the
MicroMod CPU. Since only a limited set of the Micromod's inputs and outputs can be brought out to the terminal blocks, several packaged versions are available in different configurations. The Analog 1 (A1) Version has a specific set of analog inputs and outputs:
8 analog inputs with following properties:
pull-down circuit
Measuring range unipolar, 0 to 5 V (10 bit)
Measuring range extension optional
Protection against under- and overvoltages
Parallel connection of one digital input each (alternative use, e.g. for keys)
4 analog outputs with following properties:
Voltage range 0 to 10 V (based on 8-bit PWM)
Output current 15 mA per channel
Short-circuit protection
Operating voltage: 11 to 30 V ± 5 % (without Aout 8 to 30 V)
High-speed CAN, typ. 500 kbit/s
Status LEDs for power supply and digital outputs
NOTE:Since the MicroMod is programmed and configured over the CAN network using the free PC software provided, a PEAK PC to CAN interface is required (sold separately). We recommend the
CAN-USB adapter as the simplest interface to use for this purpose.
