DESCRIPTION:
Monitor your assets from anywhere in the world over IP with
this camera! Designed around a high resolution CCD camera
from Sony, the Pan Tilt Dome camera is much more than
a webcam. It is a versatile security plug-in for our SecurityProbes.
Includes Pan Tilt Functionality! Pan right or
left, up or down.
Live full-color streaming video is
available up to 15 frames per second via the web interface of
the Sensor Probe to which this camera attaches. Pictures can be taken with
the camera and easily downloaded from its host Sensor Probe to a
computer, where the pictures can be viewed, stored, and changed by any
standard image editing software. Pictures can also be sent
via e-mail, FTP, MMS, or even streamed to a compatible mobile
phone!
Motion detection software built in to the Security
Probes can send alerts when motion is detected. Alerts
include email, phone calls, SNMP traps, SMS, MMS, a siren and strobe
light, and audio warnings.
Sensor Notification Matrix:
The alert messages are customizable and can include a picture of the event. Besides notification alerts, event information including pictures are stored in a nonvolatile flash memory. The number of pictures to take is customizable for each camera, up to 2 pre-event, and 16 post-event pictures. The interval between each picture also can be customized. The timestamp is displayed below each image. The SP8L-X20 has a battery backed time of day clock to facilitate accurate record keeping.

This is the back of a Securty Probe where you can connect the
cameras. The green connectors on the bottom are for
connecting the Pan and Tilt lead from the camera.
