The RS485USB is a RS422/485 to USB Cable designed to provide instant Serial port expansion via the Universal Serial Bus (USB) for your Notebook PC, workstation, thin client, or server. There is a unique I/O electric auto-control to control the direction of data transfer. No handshake signal is needed to transfer full duplex (RS-422) or half duplex (RS-485).
The BF-850 can be used in point to point or point to multipoint applications. In point to multipoint use, each unit adapter can connect up to 32 RS-422 or RS-485 interface devices.
