USB232 is an advanced USB to Serial adapter using the EXAR USB UART technology. The USB232 has many features that the low cost “dumb” serial to USB converter do not provide. The USB232 supports most RS-232C signals and uses internal buffering to support baud rates up to 12 Mbps used by the USB port.
