Voltage input covers 0–60 VDC across 3 configurable ranges (0–15 V, 0–30 V, or 0–60 V). Current is measured through an external CT (current transformer), sold separately. The standard sensor is calibrated for a 50 A CT. Voltage and current accuracy are both rated at ±0.05% of full scale.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eOn generators and engines, place the CT on the starter motor to track crank current, or on the alternator to track charge current. A drop in crank current over time can point to a weakening battery or a starter motor problem.
