The BT832F is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5 module with extended Bluetooth range and works great for mass deployment in mesh networks. With increased Bluetooth range, the line of sight between two BT832Fs is measured at 220 to 330 meters (721 to 1082 feet) with 1Mbps data rate. This BLE module is similar to the BT832 module with identical soldering pad footprint.
BT832F operates using a Nordic nRF52832 QFAA and includes an integrated PCB trace antenna. The module includes 16 castellated pins, which is perfect for applications requiring limited numbers of GPIOs; the 24 LGA (Land Grid Array) pins provide access to all of the nRF52832 GPIO pins.

NOTE: The BT832F does not come with pre-loaded firmware. To develop firmware, use the Nordic SDK which uses a free open-source toolchain. The SDK has a variety of options, including support for the ANT Network protocol, through which the module can be used in mesh and tree topologies without using BLE. This module is well suited to sensor applications.

Using a Nordic nRF52832 QFAA, this BLE module includes an integrated PCB trace antenna. It has 16 castellated pins, which is perfect for applications requiring limited numbers of GPIOs, and the 24 LGA (Land Grid Array) pins provide access to all of the nRF52832 GPIO pins. Features includes 512 KB flash, 64 KB RAM, and an embedded 2.4 GHz multi-protocol transceiver ,Cortex M4F processor, AES HW encryption, and compatible with the Apple HomeKit and other leading smart home standards. The build-in Near-Field-Communication (NFC) can be used to easily and securely pair the module to other BLE devices, or to pass credentials from a smart phone or tablet to the module. In addition, it has a built-in Temperature Sensor to monitor operating conditions. |
