TRAINING OVERVIEW

This workshop is designed to provide hands-on training for anyone who installs or maintains PROFIBUS networks.

With a mixture of theory and practical hands-on exercises, students will learn and practice the skills needed for PROFIBUS installations.

  • Understand PROFIBUS concepts, network components, cabling, grounding, and shielding.
  • Find and isolate problems fast.
  • Maintain, strategically isolate, analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Use the latest troubleshooting tools including ProfiTrace 2, ScopeWare, ProfiCaptain 2, and TopologyScan.

The Advanced Class is ideal for students who have previously taken the class and want a refresher with more hands-on experience with advanced topics. This class will spend less time on PROFIBUS basics and spend more time on advanced topics with ProfiTrace 2. Some prior familiarity with PROFIBUS is recommended, but not required.
