The AU5790 CAN High Speed to Single Wire bus converter (Peak PCAN-AU5790 IPEH-002040) provides a connection between a standard High-speed CAN bus (ISO 11898-2) and a Single-wire CAN bus (SAE J2411). A common application for this bus converter is to use in with our CAN-USB Adapter to communicate on a Single-wire CAN bus

Can be switched between the various operating modes by means of a slide switch mounted on one side

Three operating modes are available for the Single-wire CAN side via a sliding switch. Normal mode(33.3 kbit/s), High-speed mode (83.3 kbit/s) and Wake-up mode.

Indicator LEDs: power supply (red), wake-up signals (yellow)

The adapter must be powered (5 V, 150 mA) through the High-speed CAN Connector (a current list of PEAK CAN interfaces with suitable supply voltage is available on request). Pin 1 is 5V, Pin 2 is CAN-Low, Pin 3 is Ground, Pin 6 is Ground, Pin 7 is CAN-High, and Pin 9 can also optionally be the +5V. The other pins are not connected.

If the power supply has a lower current output than 150 mA, you may use an additional 12-Volt supply via the Single-wire CAN connector. Pin 3 is Ground, Pin 5 is CAN, Pin 6 is Ground and Pin 9 is Vbat. The other pins are not connected.
