CAN to OBD2 Cable

The OBD-2 is a standard interface to many of todays cars and trucks. The OBD-2 cable provides the CAN signals from the car/truck to a CAN interface adapter and can provide diagnostic and basic information when combined with the correct software. This 1 meter adapter cable (Peak PCAN IPEK-003004), OBD-2 to 9-pin D-Sub, can be used to access the CAN lines.

Specifications for the CAN-OBD2 cable:

• 9-pin D-Sub socket female (in accordance with CiA® 102):
  • Pin 2: CAN Low
  • Pin 7: CAN High
• 16-pin OBD-2 Male Connector:
  • Pin 6: CAN High (J-2284)
  • Pin 14: CAN Low (J-2284)
• All ODB-2 pins are mounted in the plug and can be assigned as desired.
• Length 1.0 meter (Custom lengths on request)
• Without termination resistors
