The MatchPort® Demonstration Kit is designed with all the necessary items to help you successfully implement the pin-compatible MatchPort b/g, MatchPort b/g Pro and MatchPort AR embedded modules into your product design. Powerful networking co-processors, the MatchPort modules sends and receives serial data in packets over Ethernet without burdening the device’s main processor.
This kit features a circuit board with a socket for your MatchPort on it. The MatchPort is sold separately.
The kit includes the development board, DB9F RS-232 cable, CAT5 Ethernet cable, power supply, antenna and a software CD with all the documentation and software needed to develop a complete application.
SOFTWARE:
If you wish to develop your own software for the MatchPort, then you need to get a Software Development Kit (SDK). You will also need to purchase a compilier (and possibly an assembler) to compile your software application. Contact sales for more information. The MatchPort kit includes configuration software and Virtual COMport software to connect and configure your device using a PC.
