DESCRIPTION:
Decouple CAN networks with the plug-in
CAN OptoAdapter. This adapter is a general-purpose,
plug-in optical adapter for electrically decoupling CANbus
systems. Integrated logic allows decoupling at any point in the CAN network. Phase delays on the optical couplers mean each optical adapter represents a virtual cable as shown in this chart.

Decouples the CAN bus for PCAN-Dongle, PCAN-Dongle PRO, PCAN-PCI, PCAN-USB, PCAN-ISA and PCAN-PC/104.
Optical decoupling and
electrical isolation by DC/DC converters to 500 V.
Built-in CAN filter.
Transfer rates up to 1M Baud.
Philips 82C250 CAN transceiver.
CAN bus connection via Sub-D,
9-pin (to CiA DS102-1).
PCAN-Dongle, PCAN-Dongle PRO,
PCAN-PCI, PCAN-USB, PCAN-ISA and PCAN-PC/104 can be set up on the necessary supply voltage settings.
