The PCAN View software included FREE with the purchase of a hardware adapter is a CAN-bus monitor running under Win 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/7. It allows the sending and receiving of CAN-messages with a sampling frequency of up to 1ms. It can either send messages in periodic or remote-request modes PCANView allows the user to define messages with his own wishes and the transmit of messages manual, periodic and as an answer of remote request frames.
PCAN View allows for Baud rates up to 1MBaud, CAN 2.0A (standard frames) and 2.0B (extended frames), Hardware reset of the SJA1000, displays the send, receive and error conditions, source-Code for Win 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/7 Low-Level driver for the use with own applications, source-code of an example application, source-code is well documented.
