Product Description
4 measurements, one sensor
The AKCP AQX4 measures 4 conditions with one compact sensor: air quality index, static air pressure, temperature, and humidity with one sensor port and one cable run.
Air quality index
The air quality index scores the air in the space from 0% (clean) to 100% (maximum pollution). It responds to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs). Graph the index over time to see whether air quality is getting better or worse, and set an alert to tell staff when it is time to bring in fresh air.
Static and differential pressure
Static air pressure readings help you control fan speeds and air supply volumes. Put two AQX4 sensors in different spaces and compare their readings to get differential pressure, which can point to problems such as a blocked air filter.
Temperature and humidity
Temperature and humidity monitoring covers the usual checks, such as server inlet temperatures in a data center or workplace conditions for OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance.
Connection and installation
The AQX4 connects to the sensor port on an AKCP sensorProbe+ base unit and ships with a 15 ft (4.6 m) cable.
