The CAN PC/104 card is a high-performance solution for connecting one or two High-Speed CAN networks with a PC/104 Bus system. This card is equipped with the SJA1000 CAN controller and the 82C251 driver. Up to four cards can be stacked within one system. The position of the card in the stack is set with jumpers.
Connection to the CAN bus is via a 10-pin upright connector. A cable from the 10 pin connector to a slot bracket with a 9-pin D-SUB connector (pin assignment in accordance with standard recommendation CiA DS 102-1) is provided. The opto-decoupled version (optional) guarantees galvanic isolation of up to 500 volts between the PC/104 and the CAN using an integrated DC/DC converter and optocoupler.
The PCAN-PC/104 card includes software for Windows® and sample source-code for do-it-yourself programming. Driver sources for LINUX are also available.
