Product Description
Perseus Monitoring 140 is a LAN-based monitoring device designed for remote environmental monitoring of critical on-site infrastructure. It supports up to 1000 variables from external sensors, leveraging 1-Wire UNI sensors via four RJ11 ports or RS-485 Modbus/RTU for industrial-grade connectivity. Multiple digital inputs/outputs (DI/DO) and a dedicated Water Leak Detection (WLD) port enhance its capabilities for data center monitoring and infrastructure protection.
Data Integration
The Perseus Monitoring 140 integrates data from external physical sensors and detectors with data from other HWg devices connected via LAN. Its open API provides seamless integration with XML, Modbus/TCP, and MQTT, enhancing interoperability for data center monitoring solutions.
Alerts
When anomalies occur, Perseus triggers SNMP alerts or email notifications, ensuring proactive monitoring and rapid response. Additionally, its data can be accessed through an open API that supports XML, Modbus/TCP, and MQTT.
Portal Connection
The LAN-based monitoring device integrates with the SensDesk Portal for centralized visibility, SNMP-based alerts, and in-depth analytics. When combined, they offer a powerful solution for professional applications with features such as graphs, SNMP, and device invalid alerts.
Unique Feature – Meters API
The Meters API allows Perseus Monitoring 140 to read sensor data from other devices (like the STE2 R2) on the network. This extra data can be used for further analysis or to trigger additional alerts.
