The Perseus Monitoring 155 is a sophisticated 1U solution designed for a 19" rack monitoring system. It provides multi-source data integration, automation, and reliable connectivity, making it ideal for data centers and AV installations.
Key Capabilities & Connectivity:
- Sensor & Detector Support: Connect external physical sensors (temperature, humidity, current, voltage, etc.), detectors (relay/dry contact), or WLD sensing cables for water leak detection.
- 3rd-Party Integration: Supports external meters and sensors via LAN or Modbus/RTU.
- LTE Backup: Ensures continued operation even if Ethernet fails.
Data Collection & Analysis:
- Multi-Source Data Integration: Combines readings from connected sensors and detectors, as well as data from other HWg devices over LAN.
- Automation & Scripting: Utilizes Lua scripting, scheduling, and local conditions to process and analyze collected data.
Alerts & API Integration:
- Alert Notifications: Sends alerts via Email, SNMP Trap, SMS, and calls.
- Open API Support: Access data through XML, Modbus/TCP, or MQTT for seamless integration into existing monitoring systems.
Portal Connectivity & Meters API:
- SensDesk Portal Support: Works with SensDesk technology for remote monitoring and management.
- LAN-Based Sensor Reading: The Meters API enables Perseus to pull sensor data from other LAN-connected devices (e.g., STE2 R2) for advanced analysis and alerting.
Built-in LTE Modem & SMS Gateway:
The integrated LTE modem not only ensures connectivity but also acts as an SMS gateway for Perseus and other connected HW group devices.
