Product Description
The ProfiConnector Plug is available in multiple colors to help identify PROFIBUS networks, or segments within a network, by using a unique color for each network or segment. PROFIBUS connectors come in five colors: white, red, green, orange and purple.
This connector has cage clamps for the connection of the A and B wires, as well as a PG (“piggy-back”) connector. PG connectors are convenient for connecting troubleshooting devices such as ProfiTrace 2.
The ProfiConnector Plug works well in industrial environments and is able to withstand harsh conditions. Its 90° angle connections allow for easier accessibility while its IP20 dust protection, and shock and UV resistant case help protect the device for any environment. The connector is also designed with a convenient notch to fit easily onto its connected device, as well as shield connection clips and built in strain relief for both the incoming and outgoing cables.
