Product Description
The multi-colored ProfiConnector Plug provides a way of identifying PROFIBUS networks, or segments within a network, by using a unique color for each network or segment. These PROFIBUS connectors come in five colors: white, red, green, orange and purple. When opening a cabinet or enclosure, the color of the connector on a device can be used to quickly identify to which network or segment the device belongs. This helps speed up troubleshooting when drawings aren’t available or are out of date.
This connector comes with a screw terminal for the connection of the A and B wires and no PG connectors.
The ProfiConnector is great for industrial environments. It is able to withstand harsh conditions with an IP20 rating, and is shock and UV resistant. Its 90° angle connection allows for use in tight spaces, and an indentation in the connector fits nicely against its connected device. The connector also has built in strain relief for both the incoming and outgoing cables in addition to shield connection clips.
