The ProfiTrace Tap Connector The cable's PROFIBUS PG connector is a pass through which you to leave the tap cable permanately installed on a PROFIBUS node. It is also very portable, allowing you to connect to any existing PG connector, or Diagnostic tool port on your network without disturbing the installation.
The Tap Connector allows you to connect the ProfiCore Ultra (the hardware interface module for ProfiTrace 2 Software) has been designed so as not to cause network disturbances due to spur lines. It provides the perfect vertical position for ProfiCore Ultra, and does not put undue pressure on the PG connector of the Device to which you attach the Tap Connector. The cable is flexible type so it can be moved to all directions.
