Product Description

UNIGATE FALCON connects serial automation equipment to PROFINET networks. RS232, RS485, and RS422 are on-board as standard. Mapping between the serial side and the fieldbus side is done by a configurable web interface or freely scriptable for proprietary protocols.

Standard protocols, Modbus ASCII, Modbus RTU (master or slave), 3964(R), and others, are set up through the web interface; no firmware changes to the terminal device are required.

This 2 port, very slim and compact device fits a standard sub-distribution enclosure. A front-panel push button provides a service menu for hardware reset or factory reset with no external tools.
