Product Description
WLD2 is a WiFi / Ethernet water leak detector with support for HTTPS, SNMP, e-mails, and PoE. Capabilities includes alarms, zone creation, WiFi connectivity, and portals.
This detector requires a WLD sensing cable which is included in the WLD2 kit option and a SensDesk Technology portal (HWg-cloud.com portal included free with both options.).

Alarms
Even the smallest volumes of liquids touching the WLD sensing cable (anywhere along its entire length) can trigger an alarm. Whether its condensation from A/C pipes or water leaks, you will receive alarms before costly damages occur. In addition to water alerts, the device also detects disconnected or damaged sensing cables for increased reliability.
Zone Creations
WLD2 PoE supports 4 zone creation. There are 4 WLD zone inputs for external WLD detecting cables that can be connected to the WLD2 to help locate the leak more accurately. Each zone can be up to 185 meters (607 feet) long. A different phone number can be called for each zone.

Wifi Connectivity
The WLD2 PoE water leak detector can be installed in remote places via WiFi connectivity. In case of flooding, it can send an alert via e-mail, SNMP trap, or the SensDesk cloud. With an external SMS gateway by HW group, it can send a text message or dial a phone number. In critical applications, it can also communicate via wired Ethernet and can be powered with PoE.
Portals
A portal is required and the WLD2 PoE unit includes a free HWg-cloud.com portal. WLD2 can also be connected to a SensDesk portal, as well as to standard monitoring systems thanks to SNMP and SNMP Trap support.
Independent for each sensing cable, water occurrence can be signaled by switching a remote output (e.g. to start a siren) over the network (Box-2-Box mode with a Poseidon2 or Damocles2 unit (both sold separately). SensDesk Technology completes the HWg monitoring Ecosystem (sensors + devices + SensDesk Technology portal) and gets you long-term reliable alerts, graphs, PDF reports, open API, remote device management, etc.
