Alarm Strobe Light Sensor – Siren & Strobe with Optional Sound Control: No Volume Control

The AKCP Siren and Strobe Light Sensor delivers commanding audio-visual alerts the moment a connected sensorProbe or securityProbe sensor enters a critical state.

Mount it on the wall of a control room or security office to signal a security breach, install it as part of a machine control system to warn employees when equipment is starting or stopping, or place one on top of each data center cabinet - its siren sounds a 100 dB alarm while the strobe flashes 400 times per minute, making the alert impossible to miss from across a room. Connecting via a single RJ-45 port over standard CAT5/6 cable, the sensor auto-detects on connection, draws power directly from the base controller (no additional power supply needed), and supports cable runs up to 100 feet — giving you real flexibility in placement. The wall-mountable housing makes positioning in high-visibility locations straightforward.

Triggering is fully configurable: alerts can fire automatically from connected sensor conditions, be activated manually through the AKCP web interface, run on a schedule, or be driven by SNMP OID. Each unit carries its own individual SNMP OID for granular network monitoring, with full autosense including a disconnect alarm.

Choose between two variants:

• The Standard, No Volume Control model (STR00) delivers full siren and strobe functionality at a fixed sound level.
• The Variable Sound Control model (V-STR00) adds a manual sound-and-light variator, letting you adjust or disable the alarm volume to suit your environment, useful in spaces where a full 100 dB alarm would be disruptive during testing or lower-priority events. Select your preferred variant above.
