Product Description
The ATC-810 is a high speed USB to RS232 converter utilizing an industrial FTDI chipset. It provides simple data conversion of serial RS232 to USB. The serial connector is a DB9 male supporting baud rates from 300 to 460K baud. The USB port is USB 1.1 and 2.0 compatible and supports data rates from 300 to 460K baud.
There is a 15 KV ESD protection for the serial port and 600W surge protection for TXD, RXD signals.
Common usages for the ATC-810 include:
- connecting consumer RS232 serial devices to computers without a RS232 serial port.
- connecting existing serial equipment to a USB computer port. Example equipment is
- data modems,
- bar code scanners,
- card readers, and
- other industrial automation devices.
