DATAEAGLE Condition Monitoring System - Cloud Packet

The DATAEAGLE Condition Monitoring System is optimally suited for the monitoring of motors and machines in the industry. The aim is to provide remote condition monitoring that is easy and fast to implement in the sense of Industry 4.0.

The system consists of a small industrial Bluetooth mulit-sensor combined with an IoT-Gateway (the DATAEAGLE 2730) to provide sensor data to a local Node-RED dashboard. The all in one multi-sensor consists of an accelerometer, gyroscope, temperature, humidity, pressure, light, acoustic, and magnetometer,   

The robust CISS sensor from Bosch can be mounted directly onto the engine or the machine and transmits the data via Bluetooth Low Energy to the central IoT Gateway DATAEAGLE 2730. There, the values from up to 8 sensors can be received simultaneously. These are then pre-processed and transferred to a cloud portal at intervals.

The data is then stored in the DATAEAGLE Portal in order to display the sensor values and analyze long-term effects. The transmission interval of the sensor values to the cloud depends on the operating mode and is optionally also alarm-controlled.

The ready-to-use dashboard is based on Node-RED technology and is pre-built for the sensors; no server is required. It is hosted locally on a DATAEAGLE Pi (with an integrated Raspberry Pi Compute module) which is paired with the IoT-Gateway Radio The dashboard is served up as a webpage that can be displayed on any screen with access to the IP address of the DATAEAGLE Pi on the local network. 

Using Node-RED, the dashboard is customizable and can provide alerting and implementation of data analytics is possible.   With the local dashboard, there are no monthly costs.  However, it is also possible to add a locally hosted or 3^rd party cloud connections as well.
