IP WatchDog2 Lite - HWgroup internet/LAN failure & restart: IP WatchDog2 Lite Only

IP WatchDog2 Lite monitors internet connectivity for up to 10 LAN-connected devices during a user-defined time period. If the internet or any monitored device becomes unresponsive, it can automatically restart up to two connected devices using its relay outputs (AC 50V/0.5A or DC 30V/1A).

Each output channel can also be restarted manually via the web interface (password-protected).

Configuration is managed through the built-in web server.

Device Failure Detection Methods

• Outgoing PING: sends PING requests periodically.
• Incoming PING: waits for a PING from the monitored device (heartbeat).
• WWW page request (Web client): checks if a defined web page on the external device is accessible (Kit option only).
• WWW page (Web server): waits for a request from the external device for its internal web page.(heartbeat). Kit option only.
• Manual reboot: A human operator can manually reboot the channel (output).

Outputs and Channels

• 2 Physical DO (relay) Outputs  on the device / 12 Detection Channels
• 12 channels for failure detection are available in a single IP WatchDog2 Lite device
• One IP WatchDog2 can restart or power cycle 2 physical devices (2x DO with 50V max  NO/NC relay). 
• Other channels can detect a failure state and reboot remote Virtual Outputs (external Poseidon2 or Damocles2 devices).
