Product Description
The AKCP sensorProbe1+ Basic (SP1+B) is a compact environmental monitoring appliance that connects to your IP network and delivers real-time alerts for temperature and humidity conditions in server rooms, data centers, telecom closets, and industrial settings.
Every SP1+B model ships with a hard-wired 5-foot sensor -btemperature-only on standard models, or combined temperature and humidity on THS models. A second AKCP sensor can be connected to the onboard intelligent sensor port, expanding monitoring to water leak detection, thermal maps, smoke, door contacts, and more.
Power Options
Standard (PSU) models include a 100–240V AC power adapter in the box. PoE models draw power directly from your PoE-capable switch (IEEE 802.3af) - no adapter is included or required. Both model types also support dual-input power redundancy: connect an optional external DC-DC conversion box to add a secondary 12–24VDC or 48–60VDC power source, making this ideal for telecom cabinet environments.
No Software Required
Access your sensorProbe1+ directly from any web browser on your network - no client software to install. The built-in web interface provides a real-time dashboard, configurable alert thresholds, event logging, and sensor trend graphs. For centralized management of multiple AKCP devices - with 3D digital twin visualization, thermal risk mapping, and AI-driven analytics - add Quicklime Sensor Monitoring Software.
Basic vs. Pro License
All SP1+B models ship with the Basic license, which covers everyday environmental monitoring for a single device. The Pro license (available as a separate upgrade or pre-installed on the SP1+PRO) adds IPv6, SNMP v3, VPN, 3rd Party Modbus, RADIUS/TACACS authentication, virtual sensors, maps, cloud integration, and more.
