Product Description
The Ixxat CAN termination is equipped with a D-Sub 9 connector and a 120 Ohm resistor which ensures proper termination of CAN and CAN FD buses. It is used when a CAN node lacks internal termination, or if no CAN node is connected at the end of the CAN bus. Per ISO 11898-2, high-speed CAN systems require end resistors.
The Sub-9 connector with 2 CAN terminations features a D-Sub 9 male to female gender changer design and is used when a CAN node lacks internal termination or if no CAN node is connected at the end of the CAN bus. Per ISO 11898-2, high-speed CAN systems require end resistors.
