Grid Connect & ATOP Technologies webinar
Grid Connect & ATOP Technologies webinar

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – September 12, 2023 – Grid Connect, Inc. and Taiwan-based ATOP Technologies, a designer and maker of industrial networking gear, will host a webinar on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. CT to offer attendees a guided tour of the world of industrial networking, including a look at matching the right array of switches for any application. Attendees will not only learn whether their application will benefit from a managed switch, an unmanaged switch or something in between but also how to maximize network speeds. For example, even hardware with Gigabit cards installed will have limited network performance if connected by a 10/100 switch.

By delving into a variety of use cases and examples, ATOP Technologies Product Manager Sam Leong and Senior Product Manager PoChih Hsu will unpack attendees’ questions and suggest solutions along with Grid Connect Vice President of Sales Rick Rockershousen.

The free, one-hour webinar offers attendees a look at:

  • Managed, lite-managed and unmanaged switches,
  • Connections speeds,
  • Optimizing ports on switches,
  • Certifications, and
  • Layer 2 versus Layer 3 switches (time permitting).
