The PCAN-MicroMod FD Module is a compact device that integrates I/O functionality into CAN and CAN FD networks allowing for customized OEM designs. 

With the provided Windows® software, configurations are transferred to the CPU via the CAN bus creating an independent CAN node. The software includes I/O mapping to CAN IDs and function blocks for processing data for both analog and digital I/O signals

The Micro-Mod CPU is a plug-in board with a double pin strip, each strip containing 50 pins, and a NXP LPC5618 microcontroller. An evaluation board and CAN PC interface are required for connection and allows up to 32 Micro-Mod CPUs per CAN/CAN FD network.
