The WI232+ Modbus TCP over Wi-Fi device is designed for hassle-free configuration, utilizing its Soft-AP mode for quick and easy setup. Upon power-up, the WI232+ Wi-Fi to Serial Device Server broadcasts a recognizable SSID, allowing for effortless wireless setup. Simply join its WiFi Network with your smartphone, tablet or wireless PC, and a configuration webpage will display. This page is where you can set up the serial port, and provide the credentials for the WI232+ to join your WiFi network.

Functioning as a Modbus TCP to RS232 Adapter, the WI232+ supports serial Modbus communication tunneling and bridging between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII protocols. The WI232+ Wireless Modbus Gateway seamlessly converts Modbus RTU/ASCII devices into Ethernet-based Modbus TCP devices, eliminating serial network limitations. All standard Modbus commands and messages are automatically converted. The limitations of a serial network are removed.
